SoundSight — FAQs
Does SoundSight work with any game?
Yes. It listens to your system audio output (WASAPI loopback) and draws the radar overlay. No game hooks or injection.
Is SoundSight a cheat?
No. It only visualizes your own audio locally for accessibility/awareness. It doesn’t modify games or memory.
I don’t see the radar — what should I check?
Make sure your playback device is the Windows “Default”, stereo is enabled, and the app has permission to capture audio.
How do I keep the radar on top?
Use the frameless overlay mode (always-on-top). You can toggle this in the app’s settings.
NodeEQ — FAQs
Will NodeEQ work with my headphones/DAC/Bluetooth?
Yes. NodeEQ adjusts your system output, so it works with any headphones or DAC, wired or wireless.
What about latency?
Latency is effectively instantaneous for EQ changes. It depends on your device buffer and APO chain.
Do I need Equalizer APO?
NodeEQ includes a helper to install/check Equalizer APO. It’s recommended for system-wide EQ.
Can I save presets?
Yes — save/load your headphone presets and A/B compare with a single click.
Purchasing & Downloads
How do I get my file and activation code?
After payment you’ll land on a success page with an automatic download & your code displayed. If you need it again, go to my downloads and enter your email.
Is there an updater?
For now, check the forums for an update and then go to my downloads to access it!
Refund Policy?
Because this software is delivered instantly with a permanent license, we can’t offer refunds for change of mind or accidental purchases. If the software does not function correctly on your system, we’re happy to help troubleshoot. If we’re unable to resolve the issue, a refund may be issued. Please contact us within 7 days of purchase.
Downloading issues?
If your browser blocks the download Chrome / Edge Click the download arrow (top-right) or open Downloads (Ctrl+J). If you see “Blocked” or “Dangerous,” click Keep (or Keep anyway). When it finishes, click Show in folder to find the file. Firefox Open Downloads (Ctrl+J). If it shows “Blocked” or “Failed,” click Retry. If you see a warning prompt, choose Allow download / Keep. If your company antivirus blocks it, try downloading on a personal network/device or contact your IT admin. If Windows SmartScreen blocks the app (“Windows protected your PC”) Double-click the app/installer. If SmartScreen appears, click More info. Click Run anyway. If Windows says “This file isn’t commonly downloaded” That’s a SmartScreen reputation message and can happen for new builds. Click More info → Run anyway. If your antivirus quarantines it Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history. If it quarantined the file, select the entry and choose Allow on device (only if you trust the source). Re-download from your account page. “I keep getting failed downloads” This happens on unstable connections or when antivirus scans interrupt the download. Try: Use a different browser (Edge/Chrome vs Firefox) Download on a different network (phone hotspot is a quick test) Temporarily pause VPN/proxy If it’s a ZIP, download again and extract with 7-Zip
